Day 13 The Last Day

"All good things come to an end" singing. Today was our last day in Paris and it was very laid back, which I think is a nice way of ending a two year Paris program. We started the day off taking a brisk walk down the river walk to Parc de la Villette, along the way a fresh sprinkle of rain started because who could leave Paris without a romatic summer rain. I thought this was a perfect ending to the two weeks, a nice informal walk and talk.

After which I strolled over to the deacrotive arts Museum to look at some fashion, unfortunately the fashion part of the museum was closed for an new exhibition. But all was not lost because in the gift shop I found this great book "Parisian Chic" its a guide to parisian fashion through the decades of the fashion industry.

This book is funny, knowlegable and easy to read and understand. This book is an indepth study of  what they wear, how they wear it, why they wear it, and why they don't take it off if its uncomfortable.
