Day #11

Andreas Gursky (1955)

Wolfgang Tillmans (1968)

Today we went to the Pompidou's main exhibit. I looked at these two photographs. I started to look at how both of the images could be both macro and micro photography. I see both as being, in abstract form, something that is from far away, or also from very close up. I will update this post with more observations from my journal about how the lighting situation differed on each of the photographs, (even though they were in the same room on the same wall) once I finish the drawings.
