Bibliotheque Nationale de France

What a spectacular building with its built in sun shades and glass facade. This building complex has many different layers and levels and it includes several courtyards below the surface of the ground level of the complex.  Or is it? I wasn't sure what level I was on, was it street level, or above ground level? The buildings were massive and simply intricate. The using of glass instead of masonry and the wonderful movable walls makes the building transform with every person inside the building.
Build by: Architect Dominique Perrault 1989-1995.
